The Groundlings and Friends of Gary Austin will be holding a special workshop July 11th & 12th featuring several special guests, INCLUDING MARK! Helen Hunt, Lisa Kudrow, Paul Reubens, Lily Tomlin, Jane Wagner, Ed Begley Jr., Rachelle Carson, Robert David Hall, Melissa Manchester and Helen Slater have already signed on to sponsor, and many will also perform (schedules permitting).
The 2 night event will be a very low pressure, supportive and fun celebration featuring games and simple improvisational scenes. Gary will lead both the workshop and the show, a celebration of his work of the last 38 years.
Due to the outpouring of support, they have sold the entire Groundlings house and are now officially SOLD OUT. Mass apologies to anyone who wanted to attend, but could not (the Groundlings house is only 90 seats!) Even if you’re unable to attend, your donation will still help Gary.

Mark recently hosted a program for The History Channel titled “SAMURAI”. He spent three weeks filming on location in Japan documenting the history of the Samurai with a focus on Miyamoto Musashi, the warrior who wrote “The Book of Five Rings“.
